Hi there, I'm Lindsay!
I'm a former high school counselor who spent 15 years in public education, and I'm raising two boys of my own. So I've been on both sides of the college conversation: the counselor's desk and the kitchen table at 10 p.m.
Here's what I know for sure. Most parents don't need someone to take over. You need someone to tell you what's true, what's next, and what you can let go of for now. That's what I do.

So how did a school counselor end up here?
I spent 15 years helping other people’s kids through this. Then I did it with my own. And somewhere in the middle of the second round, I realized something that changed my whole business.
I didn’t want college planning taken off my plate. I’m the one who keeps everything running in my house, from the doctor’s appointments to the soft place to land after a hard day. I didn’t want to be written out of this part. I wanted to stop feeling scattered while I did it. I wanted to know what mattered, what could wait, and what to do next, so I could be the calm one for my kid.
It turns out that’s what almost every mom I’ve ever worked with wants too. You don’t need someone to take over. You need help being the one who has it handled.
So that’s what I built. The College-Bound Parent Collective gives you a real counselor in your corner for all four years of high school. You get the one job that matters right now, a clear list of what can wait, and someone to ask when the next question pops up.
(And if handing it off is what your family needs, that’s okay too. I still work one-on-one with a small number of students.)
